Site Rules - ChibiPaws

IMPORTANT NOTE: ChibiPaws© is a children’s website. It’s very important that everyone review the below rules and terms for your safety and the safety of our other users. By visiting the site, you’ve agreed to our Terms and Conditions, and they can be updated at any time and without (or with very little) notice. ChibiPaws© is heavily moderated to ensure the safety of our users and the integrity of our site.

IMPORTANT NOTE II: We do NOT delete accounts. It always has been and it always will be against our policy to do so.

ChibiPaws uses a “Warn System”. Here is an explanation:
(2 warns): You will receive 1 unofficial (“verbal”) warning through ChibiMail© or on the forums for your first offense. You will receive an official warning that will count against your account for your second offense. You will be suspended for up to 3 days for your third offense.

(1 warn):You will receive an official warning that will count against your account for your first offense. You will be suspended for up to 5 days for your second offense.

(0 warns): You run the risk of being permanently banned on your first offense.

If you commit the same offense after your suspension ends (if it gets that far), your account WILL be permanently banned from the site-no ifs, ands, buts or appeals.

By using our site, you agree to NOT do/use/have the following:

Asking for a user's personal email address. (1 warn)
Giving out your personal email address. (1 warn)
Giving out/asking for ANYONE'S personal email address. (1 warn)
Having more than one account. (1 warn)
Using profanity, ‘swear words’, sexual terms or inappropriate acts. (2 warns)
Creating or participating in political or religious topics. (2 warns)
Gangs, gang slang or any related topics/images. (2 warns)
Chat rooms and/or links to chat room sites. (1 warn)
Giveaways, contests or raffles real life prizes or ChibiPets©. (2 warns)
- If requiring ChibiPoints© to enter your contest, you cannot require any user to “donate” more than 1k!
Stealing someone’s artwork/graphics/stories/poems. (0 warns)
Giving out personal information regarding someone (anyone!) else such as: last name, age, location, school, screen name, address, phone number, or picture. (1 warn)
Giving out personal information regarding yourself such as: last name, age, location, school, screen name, address, phone number, or picture. (1 warn)
Impersonating staff and/or administration. (0 warns)
Asking for someone’s password. (0 warns)
Asking for personal information such as: screen names, zip codes, addresses, etc. (1 warn)
Cybering. (0 warns)
Romance (love) roleplay. (1 warn)
Online dating requests. (2 warns)
Cheating in any way, shape, form, idea, dream or concept. (0 warns)
Speaking about/referring to other petsites. (2 warns)
Referring to another petsite in your username. (0 warns)
--Please note: We cannot change usernames. If you refer to another petsite in your username, our only option is a Permanent ban ):
Spamming (“party boards”) in the forums. (2 warns)
Using languages other than English within the site. (2 warns)
Insulting/harassing other users and/or staff. (0 warns)
Trolling (disrupting a thread by posting inaccurate, inflammatory or hateful comments). (1 warn)
Sharing an account with ANYONE. (1 warn)
Posting pictures of yourself, friends, or family. (2 warns)
Posting inappropriate images/pictures/links. (1 warn)
Selling your own artwork/stories/poems/layouts. (2 warns)
Using cracks (I.E.: Auto-refreshers, auto-buyers…any program that plays the game for you!). (0 warns)

Just because it isn’t on the list, doesn’t mean that you can’t be warned for it.

ChibiPaws© abides by US and International laws. Any talk of illegal activities will have the proper action taken-this includes talk of illegal software and illegal music and video downloads, to name only a very few.

Last but still VERY IMPORTANT: You can display our artwork on a website other than ChibiPaws© so long as proper credit is given. Everything seen and submitted (including stories and images) on ChibiPaws© is copyright ChibiPaws© [excluding ads]. It must be displayed on every page that has our pictures displayed. If you are caught with our images on your site without proper credit, legal action will be taken.

YOU CANNOT SELL CHIBIPAWS© ARTWORK FOR MONEY, CHIBIPOINTS©, CHIBIITEMS© OR CHIBIPETS©! Doing so can and will result in legal action.

The ChibiPaws© Team will NEVER ask you for your password. If a staff member does, report it immediately!
